Licences for FT content fall into two broad categories –

  • Ad-hoc republishing rights for a single article (Permissions & Reprints)
  • The rights to republish multiple articles over a specific time period (Syndication contracts).

Based on your requirements, our syndication team can advise you on the appropriate licence, which articles to select, how the content is delivered and how it can be used.


Syndication Contracts

  • Regularly republish selected FT content in print, online, web apps, mobile and tablet devices over a period of 1-3 years
  • Option to carry branded FT pages in your publication, including FT logo and branding elements
  • Option to translate content before republishing

Permissions & Reprints

  • Republishing articles in print or online on a one-time basis for a specific purpose (company presentations, PR, marketing campaigns or internal communications etc.)
  • Individual FT branded articles in PDF or hard copy format for promotional purposes (with the option to include your own company logo and contact details)
  • Targeted redistribution of an article in a newsletter or via email
